Mechanical Engineering is the oldest specialist field of faculty of engineering. In the past decades, Mechanical Engineering shared produced hundreds of graduates, who have gone on to share their area of expertise in Palestine and in the surrounding nations. The Mechanical Engineering department has been particularily innovatory in the technological development through the use of the energy of waterfall, wind and steam. Mechanical Engineering focuses on energy conversions, power machines, machine design, production processes, testing and evaluatiing industrial products.
Applied Mechanics and Ventilation and Air Conditioning are some of our more important courses, through which we have made great contributions to the Palestinian commuity. It was necessary for the local and national community to have well-trained mechanical engineers and therefore the Mechanical Engineering Department was formed in 2002.
The study period in the Mechanical Engineering Department consists of five years in fulltime education. During their study, students can concentrate their study in one of the two fields of specialisations: Applied Mechanical Engineering, or Thermal Engineering
Admission Requirements:
