The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering held a tour of the Old Town in Nablus, on September 11, 2017. The tour included multiple activities and an introduction to the area and its historical landmarks. The tour started at the ‘Khader’ Church with a summary of its history and discussions about the religious coexistence in Nablus. The tour’s next stop was ‘Braik’ Mill, one of the oldest grinderies in Nablus. The tour went on to the ‘Nabulsi’ Soap Factory, where the process of creating soap and the factory’s history were explained. Concluding the tour, members of the Institute headed to ‘Sheikh Qasem’s’ Coffee, a coffee shop serving all types of traditional beverages and desserts, while aslo being considered one of Nablus’ oldest
