Objectives
Nablus Tulkarm Road should be viewed as an important element necessary for the development of the area that it serves.
This project is done to satisfy the following:
- Evaluation of the existing geometric, traffic, and pavement conditions.
- Redesign and improvement of geometric, traffic, and pavement.
- Prepare a bill of quantity for the road.
- Design all details related to the road such as Culverts, Guard Rail, Ditches, etc.
Report Outlines
The Graduation project report consists of nine chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, where the objectives of the project and the study area are illustrated. The methodology is presented in Chapter two. Chapter three includes a presentation of the data collection, and it also covers the traffic studies.
The design control and criteria and the LOS study are illustrated in Chapter four. Chapter five illustrates the evaluation of the existing pavement design, and the new design.
Evaluation and Design of Geometric, both vertical and horizontal are included in chapter Six.
After that, chapter seven will talk about the cross section element design and all details related to cross section such as Culverts, Guard rail, Ditches, etc.
The intersection design will be illustrated in chapter eight. Chapter nine is Traffic Control Devices and Marking.
The next chapter; chapter ten illustrate Bill of quantities. Conclusion and Recommendations are discussed in chapter eleven. The last chapter is the appendices.
