The land of the ptoject located in the western region of Nablus city , at the junction Qusin. Surrounded by two main streets 25 m and 20 m. And about 2 km from the regional parties street that passes through city of Nablus. To summarize up the reasons for selecting this piece of land in that region is evolving and urban encroachment and commercial . Specifically this Trade centers (malls) fabricated functions address the needs of the population of the city, the region to whole Nablus and surround . In addition, consider the importance of the topography of the land . Also take on the Palestinian coast and the beauty of the surrounding area . Generally the Size of the land 22 square acres with Trapezoidal shape .
The project centered on the idea of merging the past with the present, as the commercial center consists of two parts ; inside the center and outside, the inside will reflect an abstract of the past , the exterior show the simples modernity . This idea stemmed from the fact that shopping centers , a place where most of the age groups of society therefore accumulates through , which I can reverse the past and brought the idea of a modern way, return to the past, we find that the beginning of malls and shopping centers have existed in various forms like formic Roman and Greek Alogeorh. And in particular the fact that the project is located in the suburbs of the city of Nablus, because what we want , link the project with the main commercial center and the old town. After study fields, l find out linear motion axes (linear circulation) from “khann” and this is what was adopted in the plans . To get around the idea of the project as a whole as well as the movement I take the traditional elements and stripped of the most basic lines and use them functionally. like “Almlaagaf” , “mashrabiya” and internal -external courts. The exterior reflected the simplicity and modernity with environmental aspects .
To get around in general project (form), we find that it consists of two parts commercial and entertaining and was the merger between them while maintaining the business side at the front of the project and the upper part until we force users to use these functions and run before reach entertainment part on the other side. While taking into account the ground lines and they are the main reference for the shape of form of the project.
The project included a 7plans . Three floors located above street level and four floors under street . Exploited the differences contour lines of work attitudes and internal and external business functions distributed from multiple stores sizes are linear straight somewhat customized business functions either metal supermarket and huge halls found at the confluence of the longitudinal main blocs. As for the entertainment side of the Mall focused on the bottom and included multiple sizes and uses and Bowling , gyms and Cinema on two floors , outside playground and interior for children. Also entrances distributed on the two streets and dedicated entrance and Commercial Services for the last basement. And one of the entrances allocated at the highest side (first floor) and two other entrances, internal technical ills that lead to the main internal courtyard.
