In this lab, electrical engineering students will study two courses lab:‎

  • Electrical machines lab (2) (63479)‎

The Electrical machines lab is equipped with all devices and equipment ‎needed to conduct  all tests and measurements that the students need to ‎‎learn more about the major types of DC/ AC motors, DC/ AC generators ‎and  single - phase and three- phase transformers. ‎
The main objectives of the electrical machines lab (1)‎

  • To investigate all test and measurements of single phase transformers ‎‎(turns ratio, phase relation, open circuit test and short circuit test). ‎
  • To investigate all tests and measurements of three phase transformers ‎with three phase resistive – inductive, balanced and unbalanced ‎load
  • To become familiar with major types of DC generators and to study the ‎characteristics of these generators
  • To become familiar with major types of DC motors and to study the ‎characteristics of these motors
