In this lab, electrical engineering students will study two courses lab:
- Electrical machines lab (1) (63378)
- Electrical machines lab (2) (63479)
The Electrical machines lab is equipped with all devices and equipment needed to conduct all tests and measurements that the students need to learn more about the major types of DC/ AC motors, DC/ AC generators and single - phase and three- phase transformers.
The main objectives of the electrical machines lab (1)
- To investigate all test and measurements of single phase transformers (turns ratio, phase relation, open circuit test and short circuit test).
- To investigate all tests and measurements of three phase transformers with three phase resistive – inductive, balanced and unbalanced load
- To become familiar with major types of DC generators and to study the characteristics of these generators
- To become familiar with major types of DC motors and to study the characteristics of these motors
