The instructor at the Chemical engineering department, Eng. Mays Shadeed, participated in the 8th International Jordanian Chemical Engineering Conference, held in Amman, Jordan.
Eng. Shadeed presented her work on The Potential of Utilizing the Sewage Sludge Produced from Nablus West Wastewater Treatment Plant as an Energy Source and or a Fertilizer.
This presentation was the only scientific research coming from Palestine in the conference and It was applauded by many of the attendees and they expressed their desire to conduct joint research with researchers at An-Najah University.
The conference hosted a plethora of international experts and respected scientists in the fields of chemical engineering and environmental issues.
