Colleagues from the “Committee for Industry Outreach” and representatives of PADECO have met at An-Najah’s Business Innovation and Partnership Centre (NaBIC), College of Engineering. PADECO delegation included directors of the company’s groups and was headed by Engineer Ghaleb Faris, director of the cardboard company.

PADECO has expressed an interest in implementing the memorandum of understanding agreed upon previously with the Faculty of Engineering and confirmed their participation in the event “Quality Week” to be held at the end of March and in the “Means to Enhance Collaboration between Palestinian Universities and Private Sector Conference” to be held in mid-March. PADECO has also indicated the number of graduation projects and of trainees who can be taken in the company’s different branches. The PADECO group has pointed to the need for graduation projects plans that are pre-defined based on field visits to the Group’s plants and companies and with direct involvement of projects supervisors and the ability to develop and apply such projects.

Meanwhile, the speaker of the Committee, Dr. Husni Odeh, has stressed on the necessity that members of the committee visit the production sites to be able to better understand, and assess directly, the different problems.
