The department will seek distinction as a pioneer in providing high quality building engineering education in Palestine and the Middle East that is responsive to the local and regional needs of the building industry within the socio-economic and environmental context.

The primary mission of the Building Engineering Department at An-Najah National University is to provide the highest quality teaching, research, and service in support of the mission of the University. Our special mission is to prepare students for successful careers in professional practice in the design, engineering, and construction of buildings with special emphasis on green buildings that reduce the environmental impact of the built environment through the use of integrated systems and appropriate materials.
